Retatrutide is an experimental peptide designed to help with weight loss and metabolic health. It works by activating three key hormone receptors: GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon. Together, these help control blood sugar, reduce appetite, and increase energy use. Early studies show that Retatrutide may lead to greater weight loss and better blood sugar control than current treatments like Semaglutide or Tirzepatide. It is administered as a once-weekly injection under the skin and has shown promising results in clinical trials so far.
DOSAGE GUIDANCE
A standard weekly dose of Retatrutide ranges from 0.5 mg-4.0 mg, over the course of 12 to 16 weeks. Usually, 0.5 mg doses are administered from weeks 1 to 4, with the dosage doubling every 4 weeks.
An advanced weekly dose of Retatrutide ranges from 2.0 mg-12.0 mg over the course of 12 to 16 weeks. The recommended dosage doubles every 4 weeks, except for weeks 13 to 16.
Standard Dosage Protocol:
0.5 mg-4.0 mg, 1x Week, 4-16 Weeks
Reconstitute with 2.0 mL of bacteriostatic water to create a 5.0 mg/mL solution.
1. Draw 2.0 mL of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe.
2. Inject the water slowly along the vial wall to reduce foam.
3. Gently swirl/roll the vial, avoid vigorous shaking.
4. To store, refrigerate the reconstituted solution at 2–8 °C, protected from light.
Advanced Dosage Protocol:
2.0 mg-12.0 mg, 1x Weekly, 4-16 Weeks
Reconstitute with 1.0 mL of bacteriostatic water to create a 10.0 mg/mL solution.
1. Draw 1.0 mL of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe.
2. Inject the water slowly along the vial wall to reduce foam.
3. Gently swirl/roll the vial, avoid vigorous shaking.
4. To store, refrigerate the reconstituted solution at 2–8 °C, protected from light.

When you have to/want to double the dosage and reduce the injectable amount, reconstitute with 1 mL of bacteriostatic water rather than 2 mL. By reconstituting the same 10.0 mg of Retatrutide with half the amount of liquid, the solution becomes twice as potent.
For example, there are 2.0 mg in every 40 units when reconstituting with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water. On the contrary, when reconstituting with only 1 mL, there are 2.0 mg in every 20 units.
1 mL reconstitution = 1.0 mg per 10 units
2 mL reconstitution = 0.5 mg per 10 units

100 units = 1.0 mL
A standard insulin syringe contains 1.0 mL, which is 100 units.
